YPG arrest 18 young men in Raqqa countryside for forced conscription

On Wednesday night, YPG military police arrested 18 young men from villages in Raqqa eastern countryside for forced conscription imposed by PYD in its held areas.

NSO reporter said YPG military police checkpoint arrested all young men who crossed it and took them to forced conscription centers in Ayn al-Arab Kobane in Aleppo northern eastern countryside and Salouk in Raqqa countryside.

Reporter added that the young men between 18-31 years old were arrested in a campaign launched by YPG-dominated “Syrian Democratic Forces SDF” to enlist young men from Raqqa city and its countryside after the forced conscription was on residents from Raqqa northern countryside.

Residents of Raqqa eastern countryside near the city protested last week against SDF demanding to go to their houses they left since last May after SDF launched “Raqqa great battle” to capture the city.

Worth to mention that SDF lately informed residents of Raqqa western and eastern countryside to send their sons to forced conscription voluntary before the end of 2017 or they will enlisted by force later after the forced conscription was imposed on younf men from Raqqa northern countryside who lived in the countryside next to the city before it was generalized on the whole province.
